Our Speakers

Kim Leblanc

Kim bought their first Siberian in the spring of 1973. Became a licensed judge for part of the working group in 1995. Is a former member of the Canadian Kennel Club Board of Directors. Currently the president of the Siberian Husky Club of Canada. Member and judges committee for the Barrie Kennel and Obedience club. Has worked and shown Siberians.

Keith Givens

Keith has been involved with Alaskan Malamutes since 1989. President of the Alaskan Malamute Club of UK. Has organised many working events notably Team Aviemore committee with the SHCGB. Was the first to qualify a 6 dog Alaskan Malamute team at Aviemore.

Racheal Bailey

Racheal has been involved with Canadian Eskimo Dogs since 2005. Has been the longest serving member of the Canadian Eskimo Dog Club of GB since its inception. Instrumental in importing the first unregistered Dogs from the Arctic regions of Canada. The first to successfully compete with 6, 8 and 10 dog teams in the UK and Europe.

Alanna Blaney

With nearly two decades of experience as a dedicated sled dog owner, Alanna began her journey with Alaskan Malamutes before welcoming Greenland Dogs into her team around ten years ago. Alanna’s involvement in the breed community is long-standing; and she has served on the committee of the Greenland Dog Club of Great Britain since 2016, also previously being a committee member of the Alaskan Malamute Club of the United Kingdom from 2011 through 2025, which included three years as Secretary.

Alanna is a Level 4 (CC-approved) judge for Alaskan Malamutes and Canadian Eskimo Dogs, and also judge’s Siberian Huskies, Greenland Dogs, and a range of other Working, Pastoral, and Utility breeds.
